Arrival in Germany

Grüße aus Kulmbach! (greetings from Kulmbach) Well, it's day 2 of Germany and so far it's pretty much the most amazing experience of my life. My host family (especially my host brother) is AMAZING. I'm staying with Maximillian Popp (nothing like our popps, believe it or not), and he has helped me "experience the german culture" (I might remind you that Kulmbach is the home of the world's strongest beer, also a city in Bavaria nonetheless, you connect the dots. What? Tony? I know, weird).

Anyways, he went to America for a year, and so he speaks almost perfect English. Makes my life a hell of a lot easier. And his friends are really cool too (I met them the day I got there, with Max and the "culture"). After experiencing said culture for the last 2 nights, I'm going to Max's friend's birthday party tomorrow night. Being Friday. Meaning there's no school on Saturday. Once again, you connect the dots. And then on saturday there's the World Cup game (Germany vs. Sweden), and we're going to the town square (der Marktplatz) where there's a huge tv, and of course more German culture.

I'm going to Berlin and Potsdam from Monday until Saturday just with the group of foreign exchange kids, and I'm hoping there are computers there, but maybe not. After that i'm going to Munich and the alps with my host family for a few days, and before I leave Max said he'll take me on the Autobahn in his family's BMW. Yeah, it's pretty kickass. I'll try to update here as much as possible, but if you want an email, then leave a comment. That's all for now.
